An Afternoon of Joy and Learning at Pastolan Integrated School
Following a meaningful morning in Olongapo, the mission continued on the afternoon of June 3, 2026, as Ang Papel Co., together with the volunteers of Harvest Church and Trust and Believe in Me Foundation, arrived at Pastolan Integrated School in Bataan to bring support, encouragement, and hope to its young learners. The school community warmly welcomed the team, setting the stage for an afternoon filled with smiles, excitement, and meaningful connections.
Around 60 to 70 kindergarten pupils received packs of school supplies carefully prepared to help them begin their learning journey with confidence. Food packs were also distributed, ensuring that every child enjoyed not only educational support but also a nourishing meal shared with their classmates and teachers.
One of the highlights of the event was the magical show that filled the school grounds with laughter and amazement. The children’s faces lit up with wonder as they watched the performances, creating memories that will be cherished long after the event had ended.
Beyond the gifts and entertainment, a lasting contribution was made through the refurbishment of the kindergarten classroom. The learning space was refreshed and enhanced to provide a brighter, more welcoming environment where children can learn, explore, and grow. The improvements reflect a shared belief that every child deserves a classroom that inspires learning and creativity.
Recognizing the dedication of educators, Teacher Mizpah Garcia was also presented with a Learning Materials Kit and classroom manipulatives to support interactive and engaging instruction. These resources will help enrich the educational experience of her students and serve as valuable tools in nurturing young minds.
One of the most touching moments of the day came from the parents of the students. Despite having modest means, several parents prepared local pasalubong for the Ang Papel Co. family and volunteers. Fresh vegetables, fruits, and locally grown crops were generously shared as tokens of gratitude. Their kindness deeply moved everyone involved. It was a beautiful reminder that generosity is not measured by how much one has, but by the willingness to give from the heart.
The Ang Papel Co. family is truly grateful for this warm gesture. While we came to Pastolan Integrated School hoping to make a difference, we left with our hearts full, inspired by the community’s sincerity, hospitality, and appreciation.
